Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. The role ensures efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, compliance with FIFO/FEFO standards, cost control, and effective leadership of warehouse teams to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
Ensure strict adherence to FIFO/FEFO, expiry control, and product handling standards.
Plan warehouse capacity, layout, and manpower for optimal efficiency.
Monitor inventory accuracy and oversee cycle counts and stock audits.
Develop and track warehouse KPIs (productivity, accuracy, shrinkage, OTIF).
Control warehouse operating costs and optimize processes.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company policies.
Lead, train, and evaluate supervisors and warehouse staff.
Coordinate closely with logistics, sales, procurement, and finance teams.
Manage returns, damages, slow-moving, and obsolete stock.
Prepare and present operational and performance reports to management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related field.
5–8 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
Strong FMCG background with high-volume, fast-paced operations.
Solid knowledge of WMS/ERP systems and inventory control.
Experience managing large teams and multiple shifts.
