Position Overview

As an Associate Auditor, you will play a crucial role in our Audit team, assisting in the execution of audit engagements from start to finish. This position is ideal for someone who wants to build a career as an Auditor in Lebanon, who is detail oriented, and is eager to learn and self-develop.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in planning and executing financial audits in accordance with professional standards.
- Analyse financial statements and assess accounts for accuracy and compliance.
- Perform substantive and analytical auditing procedures.
- Identify and communicate audit issues, technical matters, and improvement opportunities with senior associates, managers, and partners.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and documentation supporting audit opinions.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to developing audit strategies.
- Stay informed of current economic developments relevant to our clients' business.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve team and client objectives.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 Years of experience in auditing, accounting, or a related field.
- Understanding of accounting and auditing principles, standards, and regulations.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with auditing software.
