KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND TASKS:
• Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to drive awareness, customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue
• Oversee and manage all e-commerce activities related to sales, marketing, and product presentation
• Identify new opportunities to increase online sales and improve conversion rates
• Monitor and analyze sales trends to identify opportunities and challenges
• Manage product listings, including writing and updating product descriptions, pricing, images, and specifications
• Ensure accurate product information and inventory availability across e-commerce platforms
• Coordinate with Procurement and Operations teams to ensure timely stock updates
• Ensure functionality, efficiency, and smooth operation of the e-commerce platform
• Test website functionality and improve user interface and customer experience
• Resolve issues related to website performance, functionality, and customer journey
• Implement website enhancements to improve usability and sales performance
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional initiatives and digital campaigns
• Measure, analyze, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns
• Analyze data, sales statistics, and customer behavior to improve performance
• Translate insights into actionable strategies and improvements
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of e-commerce trends
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and platform strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, content, procurement) to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensure security of customer data and online transactions
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Minimum Experience:
• 2–5 years of proven experience as an E-Commerce Specialist or in a similar role
• Experience in furniture, retail, or lifestyle brands is a strong advantage
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field
Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong understanding of e-commerce practices, online sales dynamics, and customer journeys
• Excellent knowledge of SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media platforms
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and sales metrics
• Experience in project management and customer service
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
