Role Overview
The Project Contracts Administrator Consultant will be responsible for administering, reviewing, and
managing contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle. The role is head-office based and
requires close coordination with project management, commercial, procurement, legal, finance, and
site teams to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and client
requirements. This is a temporary consultancy role established specifically for the duration of the
project and does not constitute permanent or ongoing employment.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Administration & Compliance
- Administer project contracts, subcontracts, and amendments in accordance with project and
corporate standards.
- Ensure correct application of Project Contract Administration procedures and requirements.
- Support project teams in the interpretation of contractual terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and applicable industry
standards.
Coordination with Project & Site Teams
- Liaise with project management and construction teams to identify contractual matters, risks, and
variations.
- Coordinate with site teams to capture contractual impacts related to progress, variations, and
claims.
- Act as a focal point for contractual communications with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Variations, Claims & Commercial Support
- Manage contract variations, extensions of time, and claims in coordination with stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of commercial submissions, change orders, and supporting
documentation.
- Support audits, risk assessments, and contractual compliance reviews.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all contractual documentation and correspondence.
- Track contract deliverables, milestones, and notices to ensure obligations are met.
- Support contract closeout, settlements, and final accounts in coordination with finance and legal
teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably on Oil & Gas or EPC
projects.
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; strong documentation and reporting skills.
Consultancy Nature of the Role
This position is a project-specific consultancy engagement for a fixed duration aligned with the
project completion timeline. The consultant will operate under a consultancy agreement and will not
be considered a permanent employee. Compensation will be agreed on a consultancy-fee basis for
the duration of the assignment
