Job Title: Storekeeper (Footwear Industry)

Role Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Storekeeper to join our shoes company. You will be the "gatekeeper" of our inventory, responsible for receiving shipments, organizing stock by size and style, and ensuring that our retail outlets or e-commerce customers receive the correct products. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail and thrives in an environment requiring high accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
• Inventory Management: Receive, unload, and shelf incoming shoe shipments. Ensure all items are categorized correctly by Brand, Style, Color, and Size.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders for retail stores or individual customers, ensuring 100% accuracy in size and model selection.
• Stock Monitoring: Conduct regular cycle counts and physical audits to reconcile actual stock with system records.
• Quality Control: Inspect incoming footwear for defects (glue marks, scuffs, or packaging damage) before adding them to the inventory.
• Space Optimization: Maintain a clean, logical, and safe warehouse layout to ensure fast retrieval of stock during peak seasons.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of "Goods Received" and "Goods Issued" using our inventory management software.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in storekeeping or warehouse management (experience in fashion or footwear retail is a major plus).
• Detail Oriented: Must be able to distinguish between very similar product codes and sizes quickly and accurately.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and lift boxes of inventory.
• Tech Savvy: Basic proficiency in Excel or Inventory Management Systems (ERP).
• Organization: Strong ability to maintain a tidy workspace even during high-volume shipment days.
