Job Title: Automation & Process Engineering Specialist
Department: Group Process, Automation & Platforms
Location: Group
Reports To: Process Director (Group)
Contract Type: Full-time
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly technical and execution-driven Automation & Process Engineering Specialist to build and operate Telecel Group’s internal automation, workflow, and digital operations platform.
This role exists to ensure that Telecel does not scale through headcount, it scales through automation, data pipelines, system integrations, and process intelligence.
The Automation & Process Engineering Specialist will personally design, build, and maintain all automations, either through:
• Direct development, and/or
• AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Anthropic-based platforms)
under a single, controlled delivery model owned by the Group Process & Culture Office.
This role is responsible for turning Telecel’s SOPs, governance rules, DoA, compliance, HR, finance, procurement, and operations into live, automated workflows, dashboards, and control systems across all OPCOs.
You will:
• Design and operate Telecel’s Group Automation Platform using n8n, APIs, system integrations, and workflow engines.
• Convert Telecel’s process maps, SOPs, and governance frameworks into live automated workflows.
• Personally build, configure, and maintain all automations using low-code, API-based, and AI-assisted tools.
• Build cross-system integrations between Odoo, BambooHR, SharePoint, CRM, finance, procurement, ticketing, and operations platforms.
• Develop process-driven dashboards that provide real-time visibility into approvals, compliance, KPIs, bottlenecks, and performance.
• Create workflow engines all the company’s departments.
• Enforce access control, logging, and traceability across all automations.
• Work directly with the Process & Culture Director to ensure that governance rules become executable logic, not PDF documents.
• Maintain a Group automation roadmap and backlog of enhancements.
• Provide technical ownership of all internal digital workflows used by Telecel Group.
Deliverables (Ongoing)
• Group-wide n8n automation platform
• Live process workflows for HR, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, and Operations
• API integrations between core business systems
• Approval, audit-trail, and DoA engines
• Operational dashboards showing workflow performance and compliance
• Central automation & integration repository
• Technical documentation for all workflows and automations
What You Need to Get the Job Done
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or similar.
• 5+ years in software development, automation engineering, or workflow systems.
• Hands-on expertise with n8n or similar low-code automation platforms (Zapier, Make, BPMN, Power Automate, etc.).
• Strong experience with:
– APIs
– Databases
– System integrations
– Authentication & access control
• Ability to translate business processes and SOPs into executable workflows.
• Experience building dashboards and process monitoring tools.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools as part of daily engineering.
• Strong documentation, testing, and control discipline.
What Will Make Us REALLY Love You
• Experience working in telecom, finance, or regulated environments.
• Exposure to ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle) and HR platforms (BambooHR, Workday).
• Experience building governance, approval, or audit-trail engines.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Anthropic, Copilot, LLM pipelines)
• Strong proficiency in n8n, BPMN-based process orchestration, and workflow automation.
• A mindset that believes process without automation is not real control.
