Job description

• Supervise the daily activities of the engineering team and ensure efficient completion of maintenance tasks
• Monitor the operation, maintenance, and repair of hotel equipment, systems, and facilities
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively
• Support preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and performance
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and engineering standards and regulations
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and coordinate with contractors and suppliers when required
• Coach and develop team members while promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and service excellence

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 3–5 years of engineering or maintenance experience, including supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
• Previous experience with an international hotel brand is an advantage
