Quality Assurance Manager - Digital Transformation

Summary: The Quality Assurance (QA) manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for deliverables produced by the Digital Economy Department of the public sector entity and its various vendors. The QA Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures, and ensuring compliance with established standards in a digital transformation setting. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
This is an onsite position, based in DOHA, QATAR.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance Planning and Implementation:
o Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies, processes, and procedures.
o Establish and maintain quality assurance standards for all deliverables produced by the Digital Economy Department and its vendors.
2. Audit and Compliance:
o Conduct regular audits of project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
o Identify and document discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve issues.
3. Vendor Management:
o Review and assess the quality of deliverables produced by vendors.
o Collaborate with vendors to ensure that their deliverables meet the organization’s quality standards.
o Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement to vendors as needed.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain detailed records of quality assurance activities, including audit findings, compliance issues, and corrective actions.
o Prepare and present regular reports on the quality status of deliverables to the Digital Economy Department leadership.
5. Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the overall quality assurance framework.
o Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the department's quality assurance processes.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with project managers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of quality requirements.
o Facilitate training and awareness sessions on quality assurance standards and practices for department staff and vendors.
Qualifications:
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
o Relevant certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, CQA) are highly desirable.
• Experience:
o A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, specifically in digital transformation projects.
o Proven experience in management consulting.
o Public sector experience is highly preferred.
o Proven experience in auditing and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
o Experience working with vendors and managing vendor deliverables.
• Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Proficient in quality assurance tools and methodologies.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Languages:
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic is required.
