Job Purpose:
- Responsible for the graphic design of media products such as magazines, labels, social media, advertising, and signage
- Responsible for ensuring briefs are followed accurately and artworks are faithful to original designs in coordination with the related parties.
Duties & Responsibilities:
On Graphic Design
- Upon receiving a job request on system, communicate with related sender to understand the concept requested.
- Adapt design & implement it on different supports
- Upon receiving the brief from the concerned party, prepare the branding of labels, POSM, new/existing brands by gathering information and materials then studying them and planning the concept
- Upon receiving brief for creative job requests and as needed provide several options, taking into consideration brand guidelines, brief, and new trends in graphic design
- Ensure that job conforms to brief and amendments are done as requested before submitting final artwork
- Finalize files by checking colors, text, spacing, guidelines, logos, dimensions, resolution… and arrange them for printing
- Coordinate with procurement to receive supplier guidelines if needed
- Coordinate with production team to ensure final printed materials or 3D materials (Stands...) are compatible with job specifications (Quality of paper, thickness, colors...)
On Scanning & Archiving
- Upon need, prepare related CDs and press releases
- Conduct proper archiving of related materials following written procedures
On Technology Updates
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effect, Premiere, 3Ds Max, Acrobat, Dreamweaver and Flash
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design
Experience:
Up to 2 years of experience as graphic designer (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effect, Adobe InDesign)
