During your tenure as an Accounting Assistant Manager, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following are:
- Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling and resolving discrepancies
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries
- Assist with completion of the quarterly and annual regulatory filings
- Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures and complying with different requirements
- Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information
- Compile and analyze financial information to participate in the preparation of financial statements including monthly and annual accounts
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Ensure appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
- Ensure quality and accuracy in transactions
- Ensure consistency in processes and procedures across entities and functions
- Responsible for making timely and accurate accounting entries
- Carry out statistical analysis and produce reports as required

Qualifications:
- Accounting degree or equivalent 7-8 years of experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice
- Experience in software development and specific experience in the Dynamics 365 platform is required
- Understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and appreciation for the risks in applying and financial reporting implications of IFRS Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
- Knowledge of economic principles
- Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
- Knowledge and experience of related computer applications
- CPA is a plus
