Dalal Steel is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with experience in data entry and stock data entry. The successful candidate will assist with financial record keeping, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and maintaining up-to-date inventory records.

• Data Entry:
• Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
• Process accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cash and bank reconciliations.
• Stock Data Entry:
• Record and maintain inventory transactions in the system.
• Update stock levels based on receipts, issues, and adjustments.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
• Financial Support:
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for financial transactions.
• Assist with audit preparation and responses.
• Administrative Duties:
• Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to support overall department goals.

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in data entry, preferably in an accounting environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management, stock data entry, and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong knowledge of ERP accounting programs (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite,Odoo) is a plus.
• Proficiency in English.
