Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to recruit a qualified pool of seafarers, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Oversee selection, hiring, and placement of crew.
Maintain up-to-date crew records including certifications, licenses, and medical documents.
Serve as the main contact for clients, addressing their crewing needs with tailored solutions and advising on industry best practices and regulations.
Ensure excellent service and build strong client relationships.
Collaborate with vessel management to optimize operations, address challenges, and monitor schedules and crew rotations.
Conduct audits and ensure compliance with international standards, and revise procedures as needed.
Work with finance to manage the operations budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
Implement initiatives to enhance performance and operational efficiency.
Manage recruitment software and technology systems to optimize agency operations.
Contribute to business development and marketing efforts to expand our client base.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a management role within a staffing or recruitment agency.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good communication skills In- knowledge of recruitment processes and maritime employment regulations.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
