We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Zekrit Maten. you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and contributing to the success of our finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and schedules. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Oversee and manage data entry processes for RV (Receipts Voucher), PV (Payment Voucher), PA (Payment Advices), and JV (Journal Vouchers).
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
• Prepare financial statements and regulatory reporting documents for external auditors.
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Supervise and verify purchases and invoices on a monthly basis.
• Maintain accurate account balances and manage bank statements.
• Assist with external audits and support tax preparation during later phases.
• Reconcile bank statements regularly to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Reconcile all accounts, including client, supplier, and other creditor balances.
• Allocate budget and perform data entry at the financial dimension level.
Qualifications:
• Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) with a concentration in Finance.
• Experience:
More than 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a proven track record in managing accounting functions and financial reporting.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Experience with accounting software and financial systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in financial data management.
