We are looking for a Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience to join our Finance and Accounting team in Lebanon. This role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, coordinating audits, managing cash flow, conducting financial analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving process improvements within the accounting function while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Maintenance of General Ledger Accounts and ensuring reconciliation and accuracy of information
• Audit Coordination: Facilitate external and internal audits, ensuring a smooth process and addressing any findings
• Performing Monthly bank reconciliation and weekly cash position report
• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, offering insights into cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and overall financial performance
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and tax laws, staying updated on changes that may impact financial operations
• Month-End and Year-End Closures: Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts and ensuring accurate financial records
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, optimizing liquidity and recommending strategies for improvement
• Financial Systems: Utilize and optimize financial systems, recommending improvements and ensuring efficient utilization
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and executive leadership, to support overall organizational goals
• Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential issues
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements within the accounting function, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Relevant certification will be preferred (CPA/ CA/CMA/ACCA)
• Substantial experience in accounting roles, demonstrating progressive responsibility
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
