Key Responsibilities:
• Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients who can provide quality products or services on our Marketplace. Develop strategies to attract and onboard new clients, demonstrating the benefits and value of selling on our platform.
• Sales Performance: Drive sales growth by consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Continuously monitor and analyse sales data, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential challenges. Develop and implement effective strategies to maximize sales and revenue.
• Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, conduct competitor analysis, and understand customer preferences to identify new opportunities and improve the Marketplace's offerings. Utilize market insights to develop innovative sales strategies and suggest product or service enhancements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, operations, and product management to align sales strategies, improve processes, and enhance the overall user experience on the Marketplace.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous experience in sales, preferably in a Food App, Marketplace or e-commerce environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to drive sales and build relationships.
• Result-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Client-focused approach with a genuine passion for providing exceptional service.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment, demonstrating resilience and flexibility.
• Analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of online marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, and digital marketing strategies.
