Accounting Department | Full-time, Onsite - Beirut

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee production costing: build and maintain standard costs, track cost variances, and report on production cost performance.
• Manage inventory control: monitor stock accuracy, reconcile physical vs. system inventory, and investigate discrepancies.
• Lead purchasing oversight: review purchase orders, evaluate supplier pricing, and ensure procurement aligns with cost targets.
• Partner with the accounting team on month-end close items related to inventory valuation, COGS, and cost accruals.
• Identify and flag process gaps in the costing, inventory, or purchasing workflow, and recommend fixes.
• Maintain documentation and controls around inventory and cost accounting in line with company policy.
• Provide regular reporting to finance leadership on cost trends, inventory health, and purchasing performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, inventory control, or purchasing (ideally in food & beverage, retail, or manufacturing).
• Fluent in French (spoken and written) , required.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Enquest, SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to translate operational data into financial insight.
• Able to work onsite full-time in Beirut.
