Automotive Drivability Technician (Auto Drivability Tech) Responsibilities & Duties
- Diagnose and repair engine performance issues.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software.
- Perform fuel system repairs and maintenance.
- Interpret diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and implement repairs.
- Conduct emission system diagnostics and repairs.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as tune-ups and oil changes.
- Inspect and replace faulty vehicle components.
- Update vehicle service records accurately.

Skills
Automotive Drivability Technician (Auto Drivability Tech) Qualifications & Skills
- Certification in Engine Performance or related fields.
- Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and software.
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Formal automotive training or certification.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Strong knowledge of engine mechanics and powertrain
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- At least 5 years’ experience with GM vehicles
- Very good English language writing and readings
