Buying Assistant

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist buyers in researching, selecting, and purchasing merchandise based on inventory needs and sales projections.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and finalize purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels in the procurement system.
  • Monitor inventory levels and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and prevent stockouts.


Skills

Preference:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant field
  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or retail operations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and purchasing best practices.Passion for the retail industry and a desire to learn and grow within the field.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
