Interbrand SAL was established in the 1960s in Dbayeh, Lebanon by the late Andre Tabourian, as the first licensee in the world of Libby McNeil & Libby of Chicago.
Interbrand has traditionally been a major player in the juice, ketchup, canned fruits and vegetables categories in Lebanon. The brands managed and marketed by Interbrand are as follows:
- Libby's (under license) caters to the premium ketchup, premium canned fruit, premium canned vegetables, premium 100% juice markets.
- X-tra caters for the mainstream juice and ketchup market.
- Bonjus (under license) caters to the low end juice market.
In 2005, the Tabourian family purchased a stake in Sannine Water. Sannine is currently managed by the Tabourian family. Interbrand was appointed as Sannine's distributor in Lebanon.
In 2006, Interbrand concluded an agreement with Cott Beverages (the third largest CSD Compan and number one private label packer in the world) to pack and market RC Cola in Lebanon. This enabled Interbrand to create and own a new ''Value Brand'' niche segment in the multi-serve CSD market.
From a small family business in the Juice segment, Interbrand has become a major player in the overall beverage segment.
