- Collaborate with process engineers to understand technical requirements and translate them into detailed mechanical designs.
- Develop and analyze 3D models of oil transformation equipment using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Perform engineering calculations to ensure the structural integrity, functionality, and efficiency of designs.
- Select appropriate materials and components considering factors like pressure, temperature, and corrosion resistance.
- Participate in the development and review of engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Conduct technical reviews of vendor proposals and equipment selections.
- Support the manufacturing process by providing design documentation and addressing any technical questions during fabrication.
- Participate in project meetings and discussions, effectively communicating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in oil transformation technologies and design methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within the oil and gas industry or a related field.Proven experience with oil transformation equipment or similar industrial machinery is a strong plus.Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
