- Generally responsible for implementation and monitoring of all finishing-related works at the site as per approved drawings, methods, and safety rules.
- Prepares and assigns resources such as manpower, materials, tools, etc., required for all construction-related works prior to execution.
- Able to lead site personnel to execute and completion of a job on time at the site.
- Plans the execution of all construction-related works and coordinates the works with electrical and mechanical groups.
- Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications before execution and ensures that all the works are done according to them.
- Manages directly and provides engineering and technical support to all the civil / architecture workgroups at the site.
- Supports the Site Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the civil and architectural groups at the site.
- Directly responsible for the safety of all civil and architectural groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary, and environmental standards.
- Attends regular meetings with a client, and consultant to provide an update on project progress.
- Pre-resolves any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems at a site that may arise at any time
- Submits daily site reports, inspection requests, estimates, and all applicable monitoring reports on a regular basis or as required.
- Previous experience in residential, commercial, hotels, and administrative mega project
- Should have some reference work - in past experience (CV) with focus to Quality.
Should have worked with Finishes as a focus in atleast 1 project in past 3 years, which had direct implementation - Inprocess quality control position
- Ensure that the quality plan is adequate and sampling plan is enough to ensure the defect deduction
- Ensure material traceability on the production floor/incoming/finishing goods
- Help percolate quality culture in progress
- Assess defects and develop mechanisms to eradicate them by means of checklists, process improvements, procedure changes, work instruction changes etc.,
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, training programs etc.,
- Accomplishes quality department goals and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- Work closely with production engineers/other departments to help close CAPA in time, analyze detect to arrive at the right root cause, correct timely curative actions, corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare and submit reports to quality manager, quality in charge
- Face external audits, conduct internal audits
- Maintain and update quality inspector records
- Accomplishes quality department goals and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- Perform all daily inspection and tests of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site
- Carry out inspection and checking for all quality-related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan
- Co-ordinate with the consultant’s representative and department In-Charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report
- Report to the QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction, SI
- Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project
- Active participation in ISO internal as well as external audits
- A team player, who accepts additional responsibilities to cover for colleagues while they are away
- Other tasks as assigned by the department head & Incharge
Responsible for execution of all Finishing works including Masonry, Tiling (Flooring and Dado), Painting, Door frames, and shutter fixing, stone cladding (Dry and Wet), False Ceiling, Façade, Structural steel (Fabrication and Erection) works, waterproofing, toilet works including plumbing and its fittings-fixtures, etc. including knowledge of interior finishing materials and its quality parameters.Responsible to Calculate quantities required to execute finishing activities.Able to understand specifications/methodology and architectural drawings of finishing activities.Coordination with Contractors/Subcontractors for Finishing Activities to carry out Technical supervision of ongoing Civil & Finishing activities at all stages.Responsible for Check Daily Progress Report & Finishing work snag list.
