The medical representative will work closely with the doctors and pharmacies in his/her assigned territory by generating qualified meetings with the aim to achieve predetermined sales and profit margins.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Effectively plan work schedules on a weekly and monthly basis to visit and target doctors and pharmacies promptly.
- Effectively communicate and demonstrate product benefits to all relevant doctors/pharmacies with the main aim to achieve predetermined monthly and annual sales targets.
- Reinforce and grow doctors' loyalty to our products.
- Effectively execute product tactical plans so that the company's products performance is maximized.
- Effectively manage available resources.
- Identify and establish new business.
- Maintain detailed records of contacts for all targeted doctors for planning, reporting, and feedback.
- Attend exhibitions, conferences, and meetings.
- Achieve sales targets on monthly basis and achieve a number of new accounts.
- Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
- Contribute to building client database portfolio, provide market intelligence & research reports about competitor's sales & marketing activities.
- Handle main key accounts requests related to products, complaints, problem-solving, order setting & delivery and have active follow-up.
- Achieve collection targets by managing effectively his customers' aging.
- Provide management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Review sales performance regularly.
- Write reports and other documents as per department guideline
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Biology.
