The Cashier will be responsible for handling all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the checkout area.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Handling:

Process customer purchases and returns using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
Issue receipts, refunds, and change due to customers.
Reconcile cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries.
Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
Resolve customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
Sales Support:

Assist in the preparation and processing of customer orders.
Provide information about products and promotions.
Cross-sell and upsell products to enhance the customer shopping experience.
Operational Duties:

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Stock shelves and manage inventory as needed.
Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and procedures.
Report any discrepancies, issues, or concerns to the supervisor.
Administrative Tasks:

Maintain accurate records of transactions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by management
