We are looking to hire a highly-skilled tailor to construct, alter, modify, and repair garments for our customers. The tailor's responsibilities include restyling old or outdated garments based on customers' specifications, sewing zippers, buttons, hooks and eyes, or snap fasteners onto garments as needed, and assisting in selecting suitable fabric.

• Garment Construction: Cut, sew, and assemble garments according to patterns, design specifications, and customer measurements, using a variety of sewing techniques and equipment such as sewing machines, and sergers.
• Adjust in cutting on the received patterns as needed to accommodate individual body shapes, sizes, and styling preferences while maintaining design integrity and proportion.
• Select appropriate fabrics, linings, and notions for each garment based on design requirements and fabric characteristics. Pre-treat fabrics as necessary to ensure proper handling and durability.
• Manage workflow efficiently to meet deadlines and production schedules, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively to ensure timely completion of orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the atelier, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and proper storage of tools, supplies, and finished garments.
• Couture Techniques: Employ advanced couture techniques such as hand-stitching, draping, pleating, and embellishment to add exquisite detail and craftsmanship to garments, achieving superior quality and craftsmanship.
• Specialty Garments: Create specialty garments such as bridal gowns, evening wear, and formal attire, incorporating intricate design elements, luxurious fabrics, and couture finishes to meet the highest standards of elegance and sophistication.


Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a tailor in a high-end fashion atelier, luxury boutique, or bespoke tailoring establishment.
• Proficiency in garment construction techniques, , and alterations, with a strong eye for detail and precision.
• Expertise in working with a variety of fabrics, including delicate and luxury materials, and familiarity with specialized sewing equipment and tools.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of fashion trends, styles, and garment construction methods, with a passion for quality and innovation in tailoring
