Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor
Reports To: Restaurant Manager

Summary:
As a Restaurant Supervisor with three years of experience, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and managing staff effectively. Your role will include supervising the dining area, ensuring efficient and smooth operations, and addressing any issues that arise to maintain a positive dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:
Staff Supervision:

Oversee and coordinate the activities of the restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, and kitchen staff.
Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
Schedule shifts and manage staff attendance to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Customer Service:

Ensure excellent customer service is provided by all staff members.
Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitor and manage the dining area to ensure cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere.
Operational Management:

Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and managing budgets.
Implement and enforce restaurant policies and procedures.
Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
Financial Duties:

Handle cash management and end-of-day reconciliation.
Assist with payroll and other administrative duties as needed.
Analyze sales and performance data to identify areas for improvement.
Quality Control:

Ensure that all food and beverages meet quality standards before they are served to customers.
Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and dining area to maintain high hygiene standards.
Team Leadership:

Motivate and support staff to achieve high performance and ensure job satisfaction.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate important updates and expectations.

Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to handle high-stress situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
Proficient in using restaurant management software and POS systems.
Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including inventory and financial management.

Preferred Skills:
Certification in hospitality management or a related field.
Experience with staff training and development programs.
Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
Working Conditions:
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for long periods.
