J Consult is a premier HR and Recruitment consultancy agency. We are currently partnering with a distinguished client to recruit an experienced Accountant for their offices in Choueifat, Lebanon.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience to manage and oversee our financial transactions and reporting. This role involves a combination of accounting duties, procurement responsibilities, and communication with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle procurement tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

* Financial Management: Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor and report on variances.
* Procurement: Handle procurement processes including sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, and managing purchase orders. Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
* Supplier Communication: Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers. Address and resolve any issues related to invoicing, payments, and deliveries.
* Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
* Internal Controls: Develop and implement effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:

Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a similar industry.
* Experience in procurement and supplier communication is essential.

Skills:
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Dolphin, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
