Role Requirements
• Machinery Design and Improvement: Lead the design, modification, and
enhancement of machinery and equipment used in Tahine and Halawa production.
Ensure machinery meets performance targets, focusing on reliability, efficiency, and
safety.
• New Machinery Development: Participate in the research, design, and
development of new machinery and technologies for expanded production lines
related to sesame treatment, Tahini, and Halva.
• Production Planning and Oversight: Manage production schedules, coordinate
resources, and oversee day-to-day operations to meet production targets while
maintaining product quality and safety standards.
• Team Leadership and Development: Supervise production teams, providing
guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations. Foster a
culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Maintenance and Optimization: Implement preventive maintenance schedules
and protocols to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
Coordinate maintenance activities to support uninterrupted production.
• Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure production processes comply with safety
regulations and quality standards. Implement measures to guarantee adherence to
industry-specific regulations and company standards.
• Collaboration and Project Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams,
including Industrial Engineers, Quality Assurance, and Engineering, to support
ongoing projects and drive improvements in manufacturing processes.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation related to
equipment specifications, modifications, maintenance logs, production reports, and
improvement initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree or
certifications are advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, preferably
within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on equipment design and
improvement.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools for design and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment used in food production, specifically
in the sesame processing industry.
• Experience in production management, including planning, execution, and
implementation of engineering projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and
addressing technical challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate
technical concepts clearly.
