Stock Controller

Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Stock Controller to manage inventory levels, ensure the accuracy of stock records, and maintain optimal inventory levels in our furniture and linen company. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires at least 5 years of experience in the stock control or inventory management domain, preferably in the furniture or linen industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage inventory levels of furniture and linen products.
Perform regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including stock movements, deliveries, and returns.
Stock Control:

Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of products.
Implement and maintain effective stock control procedures.
Ensure proper labeling and storage of products to prevent damage and loss.
Data Management:

Update inventory management systems with accurate stock information.
Generate regular inventory reports for management review.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Coordination and Communication:

Collaborate with suppliers, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure smooth inventory operations.
Coordinate with the sales and purchasing teams to forecast inventory needs and place orders accordingly.
Address and resolve any inventory-related issues promptly.
Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory management.
Promote and enforce safety standards within the inventory storage areas.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain the integrity and security of the inventory.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
At least 5 years of proven experience as a Stock Controller or in a similar role, preferably in the furniture or linen industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:

Full-time position based in Lebanon.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
Physical ability to lift and move inventory items as needed
