Position Summary:

The Interior Designer is responsible for creating, planning, and executing interior design solutions that meet client expectations and project requirements. This role involves

enhancing the aesthetics, functionality, and usability of interior spaces through creative design and meticulous execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conceptualization s Design Development:

· Develop innovative interior design concepts considering spatial planning, aesthetics, materials, and finishes.

· Create mood boards, sketches, 3D models, and 2D drawings to illustrate design ideas for client approval.

2. Space Planning s Layout Design:

· Plan and design interior layouts to ensure optimal use of space and functionality.

· Produce detailed floor plans, furniture layouts, and elevations.

3. Material s Finish Selection:

· Select appropriate materials, colors, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with the design concept.

· Prepare material boards and specifications for interior finishes and furnishings.

4. Documentation s Drawing Production:

· Generate detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).

· Prepare construction documents, including schedules and specifications for interior elements.

5. Coordination s Collaboration:

· Collaborate closely with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure accurate implementation of design plans.

· Work with other design disciplines to ensure seamless integration of interior elements within the overall project.



6. Safety s Compliance:

· Adhere to safety protocols and ensure designs comply with safety standards and regulations.

· Integrate safety measures into interior design plans and material selection.

7. Client Relations:

· Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

· Translate client requirements into creative and practical design solutions.

8. Communication:

· Effectively communicate design concepts and project requirements within the design team and with clients.

· Prepare visual presentations, mood boards, and design proposals for client communication.

9. Support to Management:

· Assist project managers and senior designers with design plans, drawings, and documentation.

· Help manage project schedules, resources, and deliverables related to design aspects.

10. Execution Skills:

· Oversee the execution of design projects from conception to completion.

· Ensure that construction and installation processes adhere to design specifications and quality standards.

· Address any issues that arise during the implementation phase, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.

· Proficiency in design software and tools for visualizing and presenting ideas.



· Technical Proficiency:

· Proven experience in overseeing the execution of interior design projects.

· Ability to manage on-site activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

· Excellent communication skills to convey design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

· Proficiency in creating compelling visual presentations and mood boards.

· Project Management:

· Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

· Experience in coordinating with various stakeholders throughout the design and construction process.

Reporting Structure: The Interior Designer reports to a Senior Interior Designer, Design Manager, or Head of the Design Department.

Education s Experience:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.

· Experience: 4-6 years of experience in interior design, space planning, material selection, creating design concepts, and project execution.
