We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team and oversee our accounting department.
Job Description: As the Chief Accountant at Chtoura Plains, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will lead a team of accountants, ensuring that all financial processes and tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Prepare and present financial reports.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during audits.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
