Qualifications:
• Graduate degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory.
• MBA is preferred.
• Fluent in both French and English.
Experience and Competencies:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience in healthcare or hospital accounting.
• Proven experience working with Medical Insurance Companies.
• Demonstrated responsibility in managing Accounting, Budgets, Payroll, Inventory
Control, and Utilization Review.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, and
inventory control.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure the company’s financial health.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, including forecasting future financial
performance.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide reports to the executive
team.
Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for stakeholders.
Insurance and Risk Management:
• Manage relationships with medical insurance companies.
• Develop strategies to minimize financial risks associated with insurance and utilization review.
Leadership:
• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
and professional growth.
• Collaborate with other department heads to align financial strategies with
organizational goals.
