Job description
The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
Responsibilities
• Processing Payroll: Responsible for accurately calculating and processing employee salaries, benefits, and deductions on a monthly basis. Ensure adherence to tax regulations and company policies.
• Accounting Software: Utilize IPH's accounting software to record financial transactions, manage accounts, and generate financial reports. Maintain proficiency in the software to ensure accurate and efficient financial data management.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording daily transactions, reconciling bank statements, and tracking expenses. Organize and classify financial data for easy retrieval and reporting.
• Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements with financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies that arise during the reconciliation process.
• Tax Documents: Assist in the preparation of tax documents, including tax returns and supporting schedules. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.
• Ad-hoc Reporting: Generate specialized reports to address specific business needs or financial analysis requirements. Provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis of these reports.
• Cyclical Audits: Participate in regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Ensure that internal controls are maintained and identify areas for process improvement.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Experience with Dolphin accounting software or similar financial software platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team
