- Stack merchandise on racks and check in merchandise and affix labels.
- Record amounts of materials or items received.
- Sort material according to size, type, style, colour, or product code.
- Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the storehouse.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, and label).
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Maintain safe working habits when lifting heavy items or equipment.
- Complete diary logs into inventory and report any discrepancies.
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Deliver a variety of items to various store locations and adhere to road safety rules and regulations.
- Handle the paperwork associated with deliveries, from receipts to confirmation notices. Keep an up-to-date inventory of delivery records to make sure the right items are dispatched to the correct clients and stores.
