1. Responsibilities

a. Perform various actions (market research, audience analysis, Google Analytics review / actionable items, data entry / update, as necessary to ensure that audience & data KPIs are met and exceeded.
b. Research and prepare financial content & reports related to industries of relevance to 1M brands (water, construction, food, health & energy) and publish them across their various media channels (magazine, website, socials, newsletters, email, reports, others...)
c. Preparing, analyzing, and verifying all accounting and financial documents giving advice & feedback to Supervisors as necessary.
d. Ensures proper implementation / automation of all Accounting and Finance as well as Human Resources workflows.
e. In charge of cash and current assets management comparing them with accounting books.
f. Handle all invoicing functions ensuring invoices are collected on time.
g. Coordinate with External Auditor to ensure all government-related documentation (VAT / Tax / etc) are prepared & submitted on time.
h. Developing and implementing financial and administrative procedures.
i. Preparing & auditing government related reports (VAT, NSSF, and TAX) ensuring to submit them on time as per regulations and with no delay whatsoever.
j. Ensuring that payables/receivables are made/received in a timely manner
k. Suggest action plans to Supervisors to improve and develop operations and work productivity in Accounting & Finance department.
l. Manages day-to-day accounting, invoicing, payroll, cash flow management and internal financial reporting.
m. Identifies and communicates major funding gaps and recommends best working solutions to supervisors.
n. Proposes and approves corrective and preventive actions when non-conformities related to subordinates’ processes occur.
o. Responsible for the yearly planning and budgeting.
p. Entry of JVs and all other types of accounting documents / information in accounting & finance solution.
q. Prepare monthly or periodic reports to management and various department heads that include among other things, comparison with budget and actual, P&L, liquidity, solvency, sales performance…
r. Coordinate with external auditing and finance institutions / banks that 1W deals with.
s. Perform various HR related functions such as but not limited to recruitment, handling Payroll, Training & Orientation to newcomers, Performance Assessment, reviewing processes, procedures and policies (per department / companywide) to ensure professionalism and efficiency is maintained and achieved with respect to work production…

2. Qualifications

a. Degree: BA in Accounting or Finance or related major. (Master’s degree is preferable).
b. CMA or CFA certification is highly preferable.
c. Excellent work experience in accounting & finance IT solutions.
d. Fluent in English & Arabic languages (reading / writing / speaking).
e. Very good computer skills especially using MS Office.

3. Work Phases

a. Phase 1 / Acquaintance Period: 2 weeks / 10$ per working day / warning notice: immediate
b. Phase 2 / Probation Period: 3 months / Basic salary + transportation fees are provided / warning notice: immediate
c. Phase 3 / NSSF Inclusion / warning notice: based on cooperation period.

In addition to the above salary increase (if it happens, depending on your work performance and contributions to business development), should we maintain cooperation, a basic salary increase of 100$ will be applied after 1 year of cooperation (excluding probation period).

1. Please note that while we are fully committed to ensuring you receive your due monthly fees at end of each month – as we have been for all colleagues who joined our company, since 1977 - sometimes due to reasons beyond our control (mostly related to delays of clients settling due invoices…) we are forced to delay providing you with your due monthly fee by a period ranging from few days to 1 or 2 weeks maximum. If this is not acceptable for you please do not apply.
2. Candidate must be living in or very near to Beirut since company is located near Hamra Street – If you live far from Beirut please do not apply.

IV. Work Schedule
a. M-F: 9am to 3pm (6 work hours per day)
b. NA
i. Holidays & yearly vacation available according to Lebanese Government regulations
ii. You would be entitled to paid leave (15 working days) after 1 year of cooperation (excluding probation period).

The current Work Schedule is temporary and shall be shifted to full-time (9am to 5pm with ½ hour lunch break from 1pm to 1:30pm) when situation permits. Hope to welcome you soon as a 1W Team Member!
