Account Manager for Nigeria

Job Summary:
The account manager is the primary contact for our customers, responsible for cultivating relationships and executing the sales strategy for our successful Commercial/Enterprise sales team. This role involves participating in major transformational projects with a focus on network security, cybersecurity solutions, and services. Success is measured through account penetration, personal sales achievements, long-term customer relationships, and satisfaction with clients, OEM vendors, and distributors alike. The manager collaborates closely with engineering, marketing, and technology teams to effectively communicate SHELT's message to the market and promote our vision and offerings.

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Education:
· Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
· Cisco certification and experience is a plus.
2. Experience:
· 7+ years of related experience in the IT/networking industry in Nigeria.
· Enterprise / Commercial Sector experience in Nigeria is preferable.
3. Languages:
· Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
4. Technology:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
5. Competencies:
· Experience selling technology solutions in some or all the following: Networking, Security, Unified Communications, Software, and Services.
· Comfortable in applying business acumen and financial expertise to assist in identifying & qualifying selling opportunities as part of an account team.
· Must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.
· Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability/affinity for communicating with customers at all levels of an organization.
· Ability to work efficiently, make valuable contributions as a team member, and assume a proactive approach to their career.
· Strong relationship management skills.
· Strong presentation skills.
· Talk with passion for combining multiple technologies and services to seek a customer’s specific business needs and impact.
· Work at multiple levels with your customers, be it technical decision-makers or business stakeholders. Have the gravitas and experience to lead a relationship with the CxO level.
· Confident presenter and evangelist, crafting engaging proposals that are contextual to the audience.
· Demonstrate a strong ability to understand specific vertical markets, understanding of key care-about, business challenges, compliance requirements, and drivers
