Technical Designer

Role Description

  • Work independently or as a part of a team on the development of projects to provide design solutions within the brief and the standards provided by the client, with input from Head designer, using techniques: such as, Design thinking, sketching, prototyping modeling and rendering.
  • Translate existing/original designs into highly detailed technical packages needed for production and manufacturing.
  • Carry out work plans for each project, managing technical and execution design delivery.
  • Conduct meetings with internal partners in workplace, for all design projects related matters, to ensure smooth workflow, and accomplishing project objectives within prescribed time frame and budget.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers and project managers, providing technical input and problem-solving expertise (If needed).
  • Prepare presentations showing clearly all the necessary data, to obtain client approval or for any other purpose during the project.
  • Produce BOQs for each project.


Computer based skills requirements

  • AutoCAD
  • PowerPoint and Excel
  • Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience in SOLIDWORKS is a plus
  • 3Dsmax and V-Ray
