For further growth of our business in the Middle East, we are hiring an ambitious and experienced Field Service Technician.

As member of our dedicated team of Field Service Technicians, you will be challenged to offer our customers in the Middle East first class Technical support on site. This will be a mix of Installation & Commissioning of our industrial bakery equipment and Service (repairs and maintenance) jobs.

As Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for :

·      Installation and Commissioning of new Bakery equipment

·      Repairs, (preventive) maintenance and technical support in case of break downs

·      Basic training on site, to instruct the customer how to use our equipment in the best way

·      Advising of customers how to improve the equipment performance

·      Advising customers about spare parts

·      Identify and communicate new equipment sales leads

·      Troubleshoot customer breakdowns by phone or laptop

·      Inspections and testing of production lines

·      Informing of the Engineering team for technical improvements for better designs

·      Promote parts, kits and service

Skills

What you bring as our new Field Service Technician:

·      Educated as mechanic, electrician, automation engineer or equivalent 

·      Minimum of 3 years of experience as Field Service Technician or Maintenance Engineer, experienced with machine manufacturing, preferably for the industrial food producing industry

·      Operational understanding of various types of variable speed drives, sensors, conveyors, programmable logic controllers, OITs, PLC etc.

·      Experienced with Siemens and Rockwell technology

·      Programming skills is preferred

·      Ability to troubleshoot power transmission parts, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical circuits

·      Basic machine shop and manufacturing skills to make modifications to parts in the field – cut and drill various materials, disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical devices

·      Excellent in Arabic and English language

·      Customer focus, result driven, autonomy and willing to travel around the Middle East and other regions
