Sales Manager: Lebanon

JOB PURPOSE: Develop, maintain, and expand the client base for municipal and industrial market. Contact, liaise, and follow-up with the municipal and industrial clients starting from vendor registration up to order securement under the guidelines of the Senior Sales Manager and maintain a good working relationship with the clients whilst representing the image of the company.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


Sales Targets & Growth



  • Ensure awareness of all new developments within the market area in comparison to competitor's products

  • Develop and implement action plans for new market segment penetration

  • Set sales targets and course of action for achievement

  • Responsible for the assigned Market Area & Key Accounts to meet budgets and objectives

  • Attend to all needs, problems and issues with the assigned key accounts

  • Follow-up, negotiate, and finalise orders as per the sales plan and profitability objectives


Reporting



  • Prepare Yearly Sales Budget

  • Conduct quarterly review and update of Sales achievements versus budgets

  • Prepare monthly reports based on proposals and evaluate and recommend the course of action

  • Present monthly updates on orders received and lost

  • Provide timely and accurate feedback to upper senior management regarding sales performance


Coordination



  • Coordinate with the technical team to ensure that the market information against the competitors' positions is evaluated to be in-line with the sales budget

  • Supervise all quotations, tenders and orders to ensure they're submitted on time

  • Coordinate with the marketing manager on new projects

  • Internal: Senior SM, Regional Sales Head, Proposal Team, Technical Team, Design Team, Projects Team, Planning Team, Engineering Team, Production/QC Team, Finance Team, Legal Team

  • External: Municipal and Industrial Clients

  • Job relevant information (BOUNDARIES & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY):

  • Secure and negotiate orders in line with the authority matrix given to him on discounts and terms and conditions.

Skills

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree

  • Sales management experience with proven track record in the municipal and industrial business

  • In-depth contract review experience


Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in municipal and industrial sales management in the pipe industry with proven track record
