Job Overview:
The Trade Marketer will support the execution of trade marketing strategies for a wide portfolio of products within the food and beverage industry. This role involves coordinating and implementing in-store activities, trade promotions, and merchandising initiatives to enhance product visibility and drive sales. The ideal candidate has experience in the FMCG sector, with a focus on executing trade marketing plans across various channels, including retail, wholesale, and HoReCa.

Key Responsibilities:
• Trade Marketing Execution:
o Assist in the development and execution of trade marketing plans, ensuring alignment with sales objectives.
o Implement in-store promotions, product displays, and merchandising initiatives across key channels.
o Coordinate the distribution and placement of point-of-sale (POS) materials, ensuring optimal product visibility.
• Channel Support:
o Support the sales team by providing trade marketing materials and tools needed for successful execution in different channels.
o Ensure that all promotional activities are well-executed and align with brand guidelines.
o Monitor the performance of trade marketing initiatives, collecting data and feedback from the field.
• Market and Competitor Analysis:
o Assist in analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.
o Provide insights on shopper behavior and preferences to help refine trade marketing strategies.
• Promotional Activities:
o Help plan and implement promotional activities, including in-store events, product sampling, and trade shows.
o Track the effectiveness of promotions and report on key performance metrics.
• Merchandising:
o Work with the merchandising team to ensure that products are presented attractively and consistently across all retail outlets.
o Conduct regular store visits to monitor product placement, shelf space, and compliance with promotional activities.
• Reporting:
o Prepare reports on trade marketing activities, including sales impact, ROI, and insights from the field.
o Provide regular updates to the Trade Marketing Manager on the status of ongoing projects and campaigns.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in trade marketing or a similar role within the FMCG sector, ideally in food products.
• Skills:
o Strong organizational and project management skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and merchandising teams.
o Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
o Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

Additional Requirements:
• Ability to travel frequently to visit stores, distributors, and other trade partners.
• Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings for special promotions or events
