Job Overview:
The FMCG Sales Manager will lead the sales operations for a group specializing in a diverse portfolio within the food and beverage industry. This role requires an experienced sales leader with a strong background in the FMCG sector who can drive growth, manage a sales team, and expand market share. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets across various channels including retail, wholesale, and HoReCa.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy Development:
o Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company’s objectives and market trends.
o Analyze market conditions, consumer trends, and competitors to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
• Team Management:
o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives, ensuring high performance and motivation.
o Set clear goals and KPIs for the sales team and monitor their progress.
• Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and new channels.
o Manage relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners to ensure long-term business success.
• Sales Performance:
o Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
o Monitor sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions when necessary.
o Manage pricing strategies, promotional activities, and product launches.
• Market Expansion:
o Expand the company’s presence in key markets by identifying new sales channels and partnerships.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that drive sales growth.

• Reporting and Analysis:
o Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.
o Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and improve sales performance.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the pulses, canned foods, sugar, rice, and oil markets.
• Skills:
o Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
o Strong leadership and team management skills.
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
o Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
o Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
