Talent Acquisition Specialist
CIS College is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Recruitment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in student recruitment through career services, skill and career matching, employer relations, and employee capacity building and upskilling. The HR Recruitment Specialist will play a crucial role in attracting, selecting, and connecting CIS College students with external employment opportunities to support the college’s mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Talent Acquisition:
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified students for various employment opportunities.
• Conduct job analyses to determine the skills and competencies required for student roles and internships with external employers.
• Source and screen student candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, career fairs, and networking events.
• Conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks to evaluate students’ qualifications and fit for career development opportunities provided by external employers.
2. Skill and Career Matching:
• Assess students’ skills, experiences, and career aspirations to ensure alignment with job requirements and career development opportunities offered by external partners.
• Provide guidance and support to students in navigating career paths and identifying suitable job and internship opportunities with external employers.
3. Employer Relations:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, hiring managers, and external employers to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
• Collaborate with businesses, vocational schools, and professional organizations to create a pipeline of potential student candidates for external employment opportunities.
• Represent CIS College at job fairs, industry events, and community outreach programs to promote the college as a source of top student talent.
4. Student Capacity Building and Upskilling:
• Develop and implement student development programs to enhance skills and capabilities in alignment with employer needs.
• Identify training needs and create training plans to address skill gaps and support student career progression.
• Coordinate and facilitate workshops, seminars, and other training initiatives to promote continuous learning and professional growth among students.
5. HR Administration:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives to support the overall HR strategy and objectives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in student recruitment, talent acquisition, and HR functions, preferably in an educational or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of skill and career matching, employer relations, and student development.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in HR software and applicant tracking systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
