Responsibilities:

Facade Design and Analysis:

• Lead the design and structural analysis of facade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, and other envelope components.
• Utilize advanced software and tools to perform structural calculations and simulations.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

Project Management:

• Oversee and coordinate engineering tasks for multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Manage relationships with clients, providing technical guidance and support.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including design reports, drawings, and specifications.

Technical Expertise:

• Provide expertise in materials selection, structural connections, and facade system integration.
• Address and resolve engineering challenges, offering innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in facade engineering.

Collaboration and Leadership:

• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to ensure the integration of aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and client presentations.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Ensure all engineering work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify the installation and performance of facade systems.
• Address any issues or discrepancies promptly to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on facade systems.
• Strong understanding of facade design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
