Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with 8-10 years of expertise in the construction industry, particularly in estimation and tendering. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project specifications, and ensuring that all tenders are completed on time and within budget.

Location: This position is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for various construction projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop comprehensive bids.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
• Review and assess tender documents, contracts, and addendums to understand project requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure that estimates are comprehensive and accurate.
• Ensure that all tenders are submitted on time and meet client and company standards.
• Assist in the negotiation of contracts and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide support in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Monitor and evaluate ongoing projects to ensure alignment with cost estimates and budgets.
• Prepare method statements, execution plans inline with project requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in construction, with a strong focus on estimation and tendering.
• Previous experience in the Saudi Arabian market is preferred.
• Proven experience in handling construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software.
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
