Floor Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
Following all Divvy policies and procedures, the Floor manager is responsible to oversee the front of house operations while providing excellent guest service

DUTIES AND TASKS
• Ensure proper scheduling of service team members in accordance with forecasted occupancy
• Handle team member complaints with the intent of resolving situations to the satisfaction of all parties
• Handle guest complaints and render decisions carefully and tactfully
• Assist in monitoring supply requisitions to ensure that costs are kept to a minimum without losing quality and usage of materials
• Assist the team with the inventory in the front of the house facilities
• Ensure that the bar is properly stocked and serviced
• Ensure standardized glassware, drinks, and recipes
• Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do the same
• Ensure that team members are courteous to all guests and fellow team members
• Communicate all pertinent information to concerned persons within the department
• Supervise the team members include efficient staffing, team member development and training, performance management and policy enforcement
• Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs
• Responds effectively to guest inquiries
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Work experience requirements
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in food service one year experience in a similar position
• Food service experience in all phases

Education requirements
• Bachelor’s or Vocational degree in hospitality management preferred
• Certificates in CPR and first aid is a plus
