Research & Development Assistant Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Research on new projects
2. Reformulate current formula to improve costs, safety and regulations, etc…
3. Develop projects issues as directed by R&D manager by doing multiple essays in the laboratory.
4. Utilize and following relevant legal requirements, regulations and product development standards.
5. Contact suppliers under the direction of the head of department in order to follow up on purchased orders, requested quotations and get technical support for new ingredients.
6. Ask for quotations of raw materials needed for the projects
7. Contribute to the communication of output of research activity: preparing papers and essays to present to the head of department.
8. Perform appropriate cost reductions under the direction of head of department.
9. Ensure products are passed all stability requirements, safety and micro challenge testing from laboratory bench batch into production batch.
10. Assist to production in order to validate the method from R&D to production.
11. Fill the Key Performance Indicators of the department and search for new applicable KPIs.
12. Calculate the cost of products.
13. Conduct “focus group” with the head of department to evaluate form.
14. Responsible for tracking of shipments sent by the courier (DHL, Fedex, etc…)
15. Send regularly finished product to be tested in external laboratories.
16. Assist to some production process when needed.

Qualifications & Skills:
- University Degree in one of the three major (Chemistry, Biochemistry or Pharmacy), Master is a plus
- Good communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to analyze data and suggest solution
Knowledge in ISO standards is a plus
