During your tenure as a Senior- Financial Reporting associate, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy of financial reports.
  • Support external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries. Coordination with the Group auditors and responding to their requests.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in the development and enhancement of financial reporting systems and processes.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, and make recommendations for process improvements as needed.
  • Provide support for ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Accounting degree or equivalent
  • 3 -4 years’ experience in the management of financial reporting, accounting, or audit roles preferred.
  • Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
  • Knowledge of economic principles
  • Knowledge of auditing practices and principles
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
  • Knowledge and experience of related computer applications
  • CPA is a plus.
