Store Keeper

The main purpose of this position is to receive, store and distribute material as per the Fleet Maintenance Manager guidance.
A. Receives items to the stock ensuring conformity with the requested order.
a. Unloads and counts received items matching against order.
b. Inspects received items for physical damage, quality and other criteria as specified by camp supervisor.
c. Reports any variations in merchandise upon receipt to the Fleet Maintenance Manager.
d. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or allocated places according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code following the store Index.
e. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
B. Prepares customer orders from stock for timely delivery.
a. Prepares items for delivery based on Request submitted to the Fleet Maintenance Manager.
b. Informs requesters of items readiness for pick up.
c. Provides requesters with the requested items, and logs in the receivers’ name and signature.
d. Informs Fleet Maintenance Manager when transactions are not possible for shortages in stock, or other reasons.

C. Performs tasks pertaining to the proper organization of the store.
a. Performs the counting of physical inventory as assigned periodically to confirm physical count against system counts.
b. Updates the store Index for proper item allocation.
c. Performs all tasks and duties within the set rules and regulations of health and safety ensuring wearing PPE and keeping the store area clean and safe.

D. Responsible to comply with the applicable Health and Safety procedures, and requirements provided during trainings and as listed in the OHS Policies and Procedures; reporting occurrences, violations and acts that may affect staff safety.
E. Performs other tasks and activities as requested.
A. Education:
A BS or a BA degree.

3 years of experience as store keeper
