Position Purpose:
The Business Development Specialist will be identifying and developing new accounts opportunities, fostering relationships with potential merchants, and supporting existing ones to ensure their success and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential markets and accounts opportunities through market research and analysis.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to attract and secure new leads.
- Conduct presentations and meetings with potential accounts to discuss opportunities and benefits.
- Employ persuasive techniques to finalize and close sales contracts successfully.
- Successfully achieve established targets for market penetration and deal closures.
- Collect the data required from accounts (Menu, description, prices, and pictures of items) and share them with Data Department.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs on merchant portals for new accounts in coordination with operations and tech department for accounts creation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Develop promotional materials and sales strategies to support accounts sales efforts.
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts development activities and communications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales.
- Proven market research and analysis skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Successful track record in closing sales and achieving targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
