Job Description:

We are seeking a Part-Time Draftsman with 2+ years of experience in the metal industry and racking systems. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating floor plans and layouts using AutoCAD and will assist in the follow-up of project-related tasks. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop precise and detailed floor plans, layouts, and technical drawings using AutoCAD, focused on metal structures and racking systems.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure designs meet project and client specifications.
• Make necessary adjustments to designs based on feedback and project needs.
• Track and follow up on all aspects of ongoing projects, ensuring smooth progress and resolving any issues.
• Communicate with team members and clients to ensure the designs align with project goals.
• Provide consistent updates and progress reports for ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Draftsman, specifically in the metal industry and racking systems, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to produce detailed and accurate floor plans.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to consistently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on a part-time schedule.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with storage and shelving solutions in industrial settings.
