The Head of Physiotherapy is responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating the physiotherapy department to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients. This role involves strategic planning, clinical oversight, team management, and ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare standards and regulations.


Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the physiotherapy team, including physiotherapists, assistants, and support staff.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities for staff.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Organize technical training for the team, aligned with GSPA etiquette and services protocol and ensure employees' growth aligns with company goals.
• Coordinate with the GM in regards to the quarterly performance of the STAR employee
***Approve Schedule change and appointment modification
• Coordinate with the GM to manage the stock for all brands and ensure that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and report shortages (professional and retail use) with the coordination of the stock manager
• Coordinate with the GM in terms of weekly and monthly Marketing offers and forecast
• Assist the Management in boosting sales, responsible for the cross selling and the upselling within the community and the Sister companies
• Assist the Management in creating retail strategy
• Ensure high standards of patient care and adherence to best practices in physiotherapy.
• Oversee patient assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions.
• Review and evaluate clinical outcomes to ensure effective and evidence-based practice.
• Manage complex cases and provide clinical expertise as needed
• Assess Clients physical conditions
• Evaluate clients’ conditions for wellness cure
• Selling cure programs – PT cure, wellness cure, Membership, facials, upselling, consulting for all departments
• Formulate treatment plans to address the conditions and needs of Clients
• Plan and organize with continuous follow up
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and institutional policies.
• Monitor and ensure the quality and safety of patient care through regular audits and reviews.
• Address and resolve patient complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, departments, and external stakeholders to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
• Facilitate communication between the physiotherapy department and other departments or services.
• Represent the physiotherapy department in meetings, committees, and professional forums.
• Assist the Management in boosting sales, responsible for the cross selling and the upselling within the community and the Sister companies
• Develop and execute strategic plans to advance the physiotherapy department’s goals and objectives.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
• Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and integrate new techniques and technologies as appropriate.


Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Additional qualifications or certifications in leadership or management are preferred
• Several years of clinical experience in physiotherapy, including 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
• Excellent Arabic, French and English knowledge
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing,
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with other managers in different levels of the organization.
• Good problem-solving skills to deal with problems faces in its daily activities.
• Must have the ability to deal with stressful situations in a diplomatic and professional manner
• Team minded, Experience at working both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Organization skills: organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments
• Able to implement and follow-up on delegated tasks
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
